Lampada da parete Collector di Audo Copenhagen in crema e ottone lucido

The Collector Wall Lamp comes from Audo Copenhagen, and its shape goes back to a mid-century sconce that Swedish designer Alf Svensson drew in the 1950s. Audo has since reissued it. Two conical shades in spun aluminium sit inside a solid brass band, throwing light up and down at the same time. Each shade carries small perforations that push light outward, so the wall around the lamp picks up a pattern of shadows.

A white cord and USA Type A plug come in the box, and a licensed electrician can also hardwire the fixture straight into the wall. Leave the brass alone and it will patina naturally with age and handling. Bulbs are not included.

Materials

The shades are spun aluminium with a powder-coated crème finish (Metal — Cream, Gloss 20). Solid brass forms the central band and the milled structural details, while the internal armature is steel. That brass surface is untreated and will develop a natural patina with age and handling.
