A French architect's eye shaped this one. The Henri Sauvage Knob takes the decorative language of early twentieth century France and trims it down to a sculptural, architectural form — ornament and restraint sitting side by side on the same piece.
Each knob is hand cast from solid brass in Mumbai, so the surface shows the marks of the casting process: reflective patches next to rough matte areas on a speckled texture. Run your fingers over it — that tactile quality is the point, and it catches light like a small jewel on cabinetry, furniture, or bespoke millwork. Contemporary, transitional and classic rooms all take to it.
