A solid brass knob with a smoothly rounded top and a subtly flared base, the Charlie Boule Cabinet Knob from CBH fills the hand nicely and turns without fuss. It comes out of the Charlie Collection, and that classic ergonomic profile sits as comfortably on a flat modern slab door as on a traditional shaker drawer front.
Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities are the obvious spots; built-in millwork benefits too. Made in Canada.
Solid brass, start to finish. Antique and oxidized finishes are fabricated by hand, so the surface varies organically from one piece to the next. Lacquered finishes carry a protective coating to hold their appearance; unlacquered ones are left natural and will develop a patina with handling and time. That's intended, not a defect, and slight variation between pieces is normal. A light polish brings back the brighter look, and the patina returns with use. Pick lacquered if you want a uniform surface that stays put. Most finishes are lacquered as standard. Satin Nickel, Satin Chrome, and Satin Stainless are unlacquered. Oxidized Bronze is lacquered as standard but can be supplied unlacquered on request. Custom finishes are available, including antimicrobial clear coating.
