Smoked glass meets solid brushed brass in the Échasse Bowl from Audo Copenhagen, a serving bowl reworked for modern tables and counters. It keeps things simple, but not plain.
The piece belongs to the Échasse Series, where designer Theresa Rand took the French word "échasse" — stilts — and ran with it. Her slender, stilt-like legs hold the glass form aloft, so the bowl looks light while still sitting steady.
