Kantarell Floor Lamp by New Works, Dimmable LED

Falke Svatun shaped the Kantarell Floor Lamp around a reflector that turns the usual arrangement inside out. The funnel opens downward and the LED source sits near the centre, almost out of sight, so light spills outward instead of glaring at you. New Works builds it from aluminum and steel.

A touch button set into the body switches it on, and phase dimming lets you drop the output for an evening. The driver lives at the plug, which keeps the stem clean.
