Kantarell Pendant Lamp by New Works, Designed by Falke Svatun

Two concentric shapes do the work here: a gently curved shade wrapping a contrasting central reflector. Together they push light outward and downward in a warm, even spread — sculptural on the eye, precise on the wall.

Falke Svatun designed the Kantarell Pendant Lamp for New Works, and it comes in two scales. The Ø55 has a curved rim that suits dining tables and closer seating. Go for the Ø60 if you want a flatter, trumpet-like profile with a wider presence. Same proportions, same quality of light, different footprint.

Dining rooms, living spaces, commercial interiors — it fits all three. Hang one, or run a series; either way the lamp defines a room without dominating it. The full Kantarell collection is available here.
