Erosion is the idea behind the Strata concrete knob and hook. Cavities bite into the sides of each volume, leaving grab-friendly surfaces all the way around, and no two pieces come out alike — the design concept holds through every one.
Designed by CTRLZAK for the Medius Terra collection, Strata draws on natural geological formations. Stacked layers suggest sedimentation, erosion and volcanic activity, a nod to the passage of time. The Mediterranean's varied landscapes and geological phenomena sit behind the design, inviting you to think about how we read time through geology and the natural world.
